This family home was my husband's home for 12 years when he was teaching as an Animation professor at SCAD. However, my husband switch jobs from SCAD to take a visiting faculty position at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and we moved in 2015, so we decided to rent individual rooms to individual students, like a boarding house. So far, It's been a great setup - we have been renting his Midtown house for 2 years.
Now, we have a baby and my husband is on a 2 year sabbatical from SCAD - we don't know if we'll stay here in Florida or come back to Savannah. We enjoy renting out our rooms to students in a room and board style accommodation, like an extended-stay hotel. Since I was an ESL and Foreign Language teacher, I am particularly interested in renting to International students. Our family has been operating a real estate investment company (East & West Investments) and have a hotel that they have managed for many years - that is why we enjoy serving our students and academic community in this way.

Property Manager and Lawn Maintenance Personnel:
Terry Mungin
Terry is a long-time family friend and neighbor. He helps us keep up with the lawn maintenance every 2 weeks at the house, as well as check up on my students once and a while. He shows our house and rooms on occasion, handles emergencies, and does the house orientation, move-in / move-out inspections, and key exchanges.
